Hardware & Desk setup

  • Laptop: I work on a MacBook Pro 16′ – Base model. I do everything on it. Mostly docked.
  • Phone: iPhone 12
  • Tablet: iPad Pro (12.9 inch) (5th gen)
  • External monitors: Apple Studio Display
  • Mouse: MX Master 3 , with external magic trackpad on the left side
  • Keyboard: Switching between MX Keys for Mac & MX Keys Mini
  • Headphones: For work, meetings, music – Sony WH-1000XM4, but for outside I would use Apple AirPods.
  • Desk – Both home and office I have IKEA’s Skarsta desk. Small, sturdy and cheap table with adjustable height.
  • Chair – Using Ikea’s Markus Chair for years now.

Apps / tools

  • For writing code I use VS CODE from 2018. Before that I used Atom, Brackets and Sublime Text.
  • VS Code theme I use is paid Dracula Theme.
  • For terminal i use Hyper. You can follow this tutorial to setup everything.
  • Fonts: Operator Mono – paid font
  • Browser: Arc Browser.
  • Eslint for code formating config – WesBos: No-Sweat™ Eslint and Prettier Setup , with a couple of different rules.
  • For writing tasks and getting organized – Notion on daily basis.  ClickUp for bigger projects and better project management.
  • Raycast – Instead of MacOS Spotlight. This is a no brainer. Before that I used Alfred.
  • Google drive – backup everything there
  • Bartender App – To hide apps in menu bar
  • Figma – Main app for design. Sometimes, Affinity Designer / Photo.
  • Spark – As my email client
